Skyline Copper

Newfoundland, Canada

Property Highlights

HIGH-GRADE OPPORTUNITY

An advanced Copper-Zinc-Silver project with drill-defined resources, located in a region seeing renewed exploration activity from companies like Firefly Metals and AuMEGA.

SKILLED WORKFORCE & YEAR-ROUND OPERATIONS

Local skilled labour and support services are readily available, enabling continuous, year-round operations.

MINING-FRIENDLY JURISDICTION

Newfoundland offers a globally recognized mining-friendly environment with strong, supportive legislation.

EXCEPTIONAL ACCESS & INFRASTRUCTURE

The project offers excellent accessibility with direct flights to Deer Lake and a sealed road along the tenure, plus additional property tracks.

Historic Mine with Untapped Potential

MODERN EXPLORATION PROGRAM

Firetail aims to unlock Skyline’s potential through a well-designed, modern exploration initiative.

HISTORIC POTENTIAL

Skyline boasts 100,000 tonnes of historic production (3-12% Cu, 7% Zn, 1-3 oz/t Ag) between 1898 and 1913, with limited modern exploration since the 1990s by Noranda (now Glencore).

UNTAPPED EXPLORATION OPPORTUNITY

No property-wide Airborne EM survey was flown until recently. The 110 km² land package offers excellent potential for identifying VMS-style systems.

SIGNIFICANT DRILL RESULTS

Recent focus on the Historic Mine delivered promising results, including:

  • 29.0m @ 5.25% Cu (from 147m)
  • 22.56m @ 4.34% Cu (from 68.88m)
  • 24.3m @ 2.77% Cu, 9.3% Zn (from 93m)
  • 14.88m @ 3.08% Cu (from 30.88m)

massive upside potential

Ready to Drill Targets

No deep drilling completed to date, ~80% less than 200m from surface

Mineralization model indicates potential for additional blind VMS targets at depth along 25km prospective strike

Firetails maiden 5,000m diamond drilling program aims to infill and extend drill defined mineralization

Airborne EM survey across 16km of prospective strike – results in coming weeks

HELI-EM

Geophysics

IP survey completed 2022

Results show high chargeability coupled with low resistivity indicating massive and semi-massive sulphide zones

First property wide Airborne EM survey October ’24, expanded to cover partial areas of new licences

Multiple opportunities to use geophysics to both define new targets and refine understanding of existing targets

Data-driven Targeting
Re-interpreted historic IP Data using data from latest high-grade drilling
Petrophysics and DH geophysics used to target analogous signature – Governor’s Target
Anomaly aligns with historic mineral occurrences and sulphide expressions
High Resolution 3DIP Survey Planned to commence March Quarter
Target footprint over 1,200m long and over 400m wide
Target untested by modern exploration
  • Fully Funded for 2024 Exploration activities
  • Current drilling aims to infill and extend known mineralization
  • Multiple intercepts remain open along strike and down dip
  • Follow up drilling indicates broad system with high grade lenses
  • Interpreted 75m wide corridor of mineralisation
